Wellbeing of Women Identity
For 'Lambie-Nairn'

Wellbeing of Women is the only charity in the UK funding peer-reviewed pioneering medical research across the whole spectrum of women’s reproductive and gynaecological health. Their mission is to improve diagnoses and treatments and find cures and preventions to transform the lives of women and their babies everywhere.

Lambie-Nairn were approached by Wellbeing of Women to redesign their brand identity. They were very keen to be seen as a powerful catalyst for change and this proved to be the key inspiration for the logo I designed.

The mark uses the W from ‘Wellbeing’ and ‘Women’ to create a radiating starburst of energy. The new logo was designed to reflect the positive impact the charity has on women’s lives, and became referred to as the KAPOW logo by all at WOW.

Along with the brand identity, I created a visual language designed to make their communications as dynamic and engaging as possible. I formalised these design principles into guidelines that would help drive the consistent implementation of the new design scheme by future designers.
