Bloomsbury Art Fair Catalogue
For 'Hybrid'

July 2011 saw the launch of the first ever Bloomsbury Art Fair, where work from 40 internationally fêted artists, including Banksy, Johannes von Stumm and Damien Hirst, was exhibited alongside new and emerging artists. The proceeds went to charities supporting people who have suffered from a catastrophic injury, including the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust’s Jubilee Garden Appeal, the Parachute Regiment Charity, the Spinal Injuries Association and Motivation.

Hybrid Creative was asked to design the catalogue for the fair. Freelancing for Hybrid, I created the key event visual using thin slices of artwork or colour to represent each gallery or individual exhibiting. When brought together the slices created an enigmatic graphic intended to intrigue and inspire. I designed the minimalistic catalogue to echo the feel of the key visual, using the thin slices or lines to create a stylised navigation system throughout.
